Sticking to a shoestring budget? Our budget plan is designed for travellers who want coverage for all the important things, like hospital bills and stolen luggage, without breaking the bank.

Annual

Are you a frequent flyer? If you travel often for business, or have a few holidays coming up, our Annual Multi Trip plan could be for you. Made for globetrotters, your trips can be up to 35 days in duration and there is no limit to the number of trip you can take during a 12 month period.

Am I covered for Coronavirus (COVID-19)?

All international plans include cover for overseas medical expenses. Depending on the plan you choose, there may also be cover available for some other Coronavirus related events. Cover is explained in detail here

What if natural disaster such as a cyclone or volcano forces me to cancel my trip?

Your TID policy offers cover for cancellation of your trip due to unforeseen circumstance outside of your control such as natural disasters. You need to ensure you purchased your policy before the natural disaster became a known event. 

Am I covered if I get sick from eating street food?

Street food is one of the best parts of visiting Asia. If you become unwell after eating from a street vendor you should contact out 24/7 Emergency Assistance team who can arrange for the necessary medical treatment on the ground. Your TID policy does offer cover for emergency medical expenses overseas.

Does TID cover me for terrorism?

If you are caught up and injured in a terror attack overseas, TID offers cover for emergency medical expenses. However, trip cancellation and rearrangement as a result of a terror attack is not covered by the policy.
