Choosing the right travel insurance policy to suit your individual needs is an important task – after all, it may be a life saver should the unexpected occur while you’re on the road.
Whichever Travel Insurance Direct (TID) policy you choose - The Basics, Works, Annual Multi Trip or Domestic – it’s as important as your passport and the Certificate of Insurance needs to reflect exactly who you are.
What if I make a mistake in the policy detail?
After you've purchased your Travel Insurance Direct policy, read through the detail thoroughly. It's not uncommon to make a mistake in the spelling of a name, in your email address or other contact details.
You can fix this yourself simply by logging into your TID account and correcting it.
Your Certificate of Insurance
It's important that you always carry your Certificate of Insurance with you when travelling as it contains important emergency contact information.
If you wish to change your policy details after your Certificate of Insurance has been issued, please contact the Customer Service Team as we may require additional information to review the change request. Where we agree to make a change to your cover, an additional premium may apply.
If for any reason you lose your Certificate of Insurance, you can get a new copy by signing into the TID website at any time – it’s stored in your personal account.
