What an amazing service
I was trekking in Nepal in November and encountered altitude sickness. A friend of mine contacted TID from the middle of the himalayas in a remote village and within hours I was rescued from the mountain. At no stage did we encounter any resistance to cover my claim and the service was outstanding! Thank you. I have used your company on several occasions now and have never had to make a claim until now. I can't thank you enough or recommend you highly enough to family and friends and even to travel agencies when I tell my story.

A claim for a very distressing situation.
I have to tell you I am thrilled with the way this was handled by your team, not only on location in the USA during the situation (or wherever the call centre is when calling you from there) but back here in Queensland as well. Everyone I have spoken to who has handled my case has been professional, empathetic and efficient even when I have been distressed and confused myself on the phone, and also through the avalanche of confusing paperwork which has now descended upon us from US medical providers.
I cannot fault any aspect of the way this situation has been handled by your company. I have been provided with full explanations and information about the process all along the way, which has very much helped lessen my fears and stresses related to what happened. As you can imagine I essentially 're-live' what happened all over again every time I get another bill or contact in the mail or by phone, so it has helped immensely to feel that the situation is 'under control' by yourselves and I do not need to worry further.
