If you are a TID member and your trip start date has not yet passed, you can extend your policy start date via your membership and get instant confirmation. There are limits on how far in advance you can move your policy – our service team can advise or check your policy for more information.

You may be eligible to take up our credit option for the original value of your unused policy, to be used against the purchase of a future policy. To redeem your credit, you must purchase a new policy and request the credit be applied against it by 31 March 2022.

You may be eligible for a refund if you haven't and don't need to use your policy to travel or claim, and your policy has a start date of 19 March 2020 or after.
